Apologies for getting this up late, but there were some technical difficulties that were out of our control. Thank you for your patience.
The Florida Gators are attempting a regular season sweep of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Yes, that's only two games, but hey, we'll take it right?
9:00 p.m. Eastern
The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2. You can also watch it streaming online through Watch ESPN. The radio broadcast will also be available on the Gator Radio Network or on Sirius 91 and XM 91.
The Gators' perimeter shooting. South Carolina is very good defensively within 15-feet from the hoop, so the Gators will be looking to exploit on the outside. Also, hopefully Kenny Boynton can solve whatever it is that is causing his shooting slump and correct it.
Game Thread Guidelines
Try to remember that, despite how emotional watching a Gators game can be, there's no reason to be abusive. Rant, curse, or exult if you must, but keep the personal attacks to a minimum.
Furthermore, and I will stress this until I am blue in the face or until FlaGators admits that I'm right, comments with both a subject line and text are much easier to read when scrolling through a thread. Try to keep that in mind.

So, I see that it posted at 10:03. Interesting. That’s a far cry from the 9:23pm it was scheduled to do so. Hooray for technical difficulties!
Also, now looking back, I should have changed the comment things about subject lines. Oh well.

No crowd noise tonight… What’s the deal???
DCGator - February 2, 2012 via mobile
Was noticing the same thing…
FlaGators - February 2, 2012
Commentators even said something about it

Not cool. Though, it isn’t their fault.
FlaGators - February 2, 2012
And by “their” I don’t mean the commentators.

Well crowd noise or not we pulled out another W. Two big games coming up Vandy and at Kentucky. Let’s GO GATORS!!!

Well said.

I was there and I was loud, but a 9PM start against a mediocre South Carolina squad might not exactly get a fan’s blood boiling, which is somewhat understandable.

At least you tried.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Speaking of the crowd noise.
I was in the alumni section, and their reaction to the halftime raps were priceless.

At Draysbay we had a strict rule about the subject line being mandatory.

At Let’s Go Tribe, which is what brought me to SB Nation in the summer of 2007, if you use a subject line, you will be told not too. As a result, I still don’t understand the subject line thing.
FlaGators - February 3, 2012
oh you mean like...
….this?
Yeah. I don’t either. Take away the subject line and replace it with an edit button.

As Sean Connery once said as James Bond in the movie Goldfinger….
“That would be completely satisfactory.”
FlaGators - February 3, 2012
Haha. Yes.

I think the lack of crowd noise had something to do with the lack of crowd. At least on TV, it appeared that there were tons of empties at the O’ Dome last night.
I would hope that Saturday’s game would be more energetic. We need to win that one so that we don’t go into Lexy on a loss, because losing streaks are bad.
