One time, Florida went to Tennessee and lost a road game at a presumably bad team in January without being very competitive. Today, the Gators seek revenge on a newly Jarnell Stokes'd team in Gainesville — and Florida will be wearing Nike Hyper Elite Platinum uniforms that may spark some discussion.
I will be at the game and recapping it afterward.
4:00 p.m. Eastern
The game will be broadcast regionally on the SEC Network. You can also watch it streaming online through Watch ESPN. The radio broadcast will also be available on the Gator Radio Network or on Sirius 220 and XM 199.
Patric Young had only a decent game in Knoxville, and will have a sizable task on his hands in Stokes, who has a strained wrist but is expected to play. Rocky Top Talk warns that the Vols are terrible on the road, which, uh, seems familiar. And Florida's three-point shooting was bad against Tennessee in the teams' first meeting, and even worse against Kentucky on Tuesday, so let's hope for a rebound in that respect.
Try to remember that, despite how emotional watching a Gators game can be, there's no reason to be abusive. Rant, curse, or exult if you must, but keep the personal attacks to a minimum.
Furthermore, and I will stress this until I am blue in the face or until FlaGators admits that I'm right, comments with both a subject line and text are much easier to read when scrolling through a thread. Try to keep that in mind.

Uniform FAIL
Those are disgusting – I can barely watch….especially with Tennessee’s orange in there too!

Big time.
FlaGators - February 11, 2012
Yeah they blow.
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
no, they suck
sportsman - February 11, 2012
Not again! We can’t get swept by Tenn. Looks like everyone has figured out Billy’s O take away the 3 and we suck! Smh

the problem is instead of the Gators playing today, some scrubs put on some old Ohio State uniforms from 1994 and took the floor instead.
Also, the kid wearing Erving Walker’s jersey is terrible. I saw him trip over a sprinkler head (apparently) at midcourt and turn it over to spark a 4 on 1 easy bucket for Tennessee.
Hopefully SOME good will come of this game in that we’ll never have to see these ridiculous uniforms again.

What happened to Patric? He used to be physical and dominant. Now he looks timid and shitty….
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
we have turned the ball over 12 times trying to force it into him too.
skigator93 - February 11, 2012
He’s not going up with any authority anymore. Nor is he getting any defensive rebounds.
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
Yup
That and no Yeguete is responsible for the rebounding disparity so far.
whambam - February 11, 2012
Hopefully he can come back in the 2nd half.
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
I think his ankle is bothering him.
FlaGators - February 11, 2012
You might be right.
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
:(
Wow. This is nuts.
whambam - February 11, 2012
Billy is too calm!
We need Boom down there right now to light some fires!
DCGator - February 11, 2012 via mobile
Eff this game!

I didn’t catch that. Could you say it one more time?
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
Very impressive. Triple-post from the phone.
FlaGators - February 11, 2012
/hangs head in sadness
GoGators82 - February 11, 2012 via mobile
Nothing to be sad about. I’ve pulled the double post before, but never a triple.
FlaGators - February 12, 2012
Prather should be playing more I think.
skigator93 - February 11, 2012
this type of loss is a killer
skigator93 - February 11, 2012
Hopefully Billy will recruit a real PG next year. Walker don’t cut it.
GatorJustin - February 11, 2012
I find more fault with Murphy.
Until a minute ago, he had as many rebounds as Erv. For a small team we needed and should expect more from him.
whambam - February 11, 2012
Agreed but I think we would be leaps and bounds better with physical pg who has size to defend. Oh and who doesn’t take idiotic 3s at the wrong time.
GatorJustin - February 11, 2012
so, what we basically need is Beal running point?
skigator93 - February 11, 2012
Worth a try.
GatorJustin - February 11, 2012
Wilbekin?
doker - February 11, 2012
what they need is
a true center and/or power forward
murph isn’t strong enough or quick enough
this is a typical situation with billy
always an unbalanced team
we have too may small players
(every tennessee starter was as tall or taller than ours)
including time when erv was guarding his 6’5" counterpart
next year we have more guards coming in
need someone to make patrick better everyday in practice
and shore up interior, offense and defense
sportsman - February 11, 2012
Wow.
Gators1 - February 11, 2012 via mobile
So...
I wasn’t able to watch it live. Probably a good thing.
doker - February 11, 2012
Consider yourself lucky.
Gatorbuc15 - February 11, 2012
ewwwww, the stink of it
