Raphael Andrades, who is unranked nationally according to Rivals, has committed to the Florida Gators, announcing the news on television on National Signing Day 2012. Andrades, who played for Lincoln High School, in Tallahassee, Florida which as we all know is right next door to Florida State, chose the Gators over Arkansas, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Illinois and Stanford among others.
While Andrades is only a three-star prospect by Rivals, he is expected to provide depth at the wide receiver position and could potentially earn a starting job in the future. Andrades is somewhat of a surprise get for Muschamp and the Gators.
Andrades was the ninety-ninth rated wide receiver in the Rivals rankings, and unranked in the final Rivals250. He joins a Gators squad that over the past couple of seasons, have had serious issues at the wide receiver position. Those issues have never been talent, rather they have been production. Hopefully Andrades provides some relief in that regard.

Numbers are always nice
For both depth and competition. One offensive side of the ball, we need plenty of both.

Love it
I’m a Lincoln High grad, class of 2005. My mom still teaches there. Jacquez Green is the OC there, my guess is Andrades had some solid coaching and Quezzie’s background might have swayed him.
