If this game seems like it's on early, that's because it is.
7:00 p.m. Eastern
The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2. You can also watch it streaming online through Watch ESPN. The radio broadcast will also be available on the Gator Radio Network.
Florida has no true road wins on the season. Can the Gators get one against an undermanned Tennessee squad that has lost to Oakland and Austin Peay and struggled with East Tennessee State and UNC-Asheville?
Try to remember that, despite how emotional watching a Gators game can be, there's no reason to be abusive. Rant, curse, or exult if you must, but keep the personal attacks to a minimum.
Furthermore, and I will stress this until I am blue in the face or until FlaGators admits that I'm right, comments with both a subject line and text are much easier to read when scrolling through a thread. Try to keep that in mind.

I dislike UT much less now that Pearl is gone. That guy was a very sweaty douche.

This 11:00 am stuff better not be a trend.
My brain isn’t designed to work (such as it does) until at least noon, especially on the weekend.
Troll2Troll - January 7, 2012
not the team's

I hear ya. Way too early. I mean, there is a reason I will never live outside of the Eastern Time Zone, and early games (sports wise) are one of the main reasons.
FlaGators - January 7, 2012
I feel the need to remind you guys...
that Buzz Peterson’s teams beat the Gators more than a couple of times, including 3 of 4 right before he got fired. It didn’t suddenly make you guys a bad team.
The big problem we’ve had thus far is Kenny Hall not showing up for games. When he’s on we can play with anyone, and when he’s off we literally have NOTHING inside and lose to Austin Peay.
Caban - January 7, 2012
Oh we’ll be alright. Just some early jitters. But yeah, I’ve seen that Kenny Hall kid get hot.
FlaGators - January 7, 2012
Anyone think we can make the Final Four with Walker as our point? I’m saying no. Hes too wreckless with the ball.
GatorJustin - January 7, 2012 via mobile
nope
sportsman - January 7, 2012
He made it to the Elite 8 last year and won the SEC...
and that was with a less talented team, although more experienced. I was thinking a return to the elite 8 before the season started. When they play well, final four seems reachable but after games like today…not so much.
Hook85 - January 8, 2012
Tiger Woods has a better chance of getting back together Elin, than we do of making the Final Four.
FlaGators - January 7, 2012
Final Four teams dont always dominate the entire season.
No way our chances are that low. I dont think todays game represents what the rest of the season will be like, by far.
Hook85 - January 8, 2012
Maybe, talk to her about other chicks?

At least one of the teams came to play. UF is flat.
GatorJustin - January 7, 2012 via mobile
This team is really starting to piss me off.
Gatorbuc15 - January 7, 2012
Poor play by the Gators
and now the broadcast is subjecting us to Rocky Top on loop
whambam - January 7, 2012
The glaring weaknesses of this team are beginning to kill them.
Billy has got a much bigger coaching job this season than many people thought.
Troll2Troll - January 7, 2012
whole team has ervingitis
sportsman - January 7, 2012
This game sucks.
I have no further comment.
Andy Hutchins - January 7, 2012
What a joke.
Troll2Troll - January 7, 2012
Great plan, Erv.
That’ll definitely get us back in this.
Troll2Troll - January 7, 2012
erv is a 2 guard
but not as good a 2 as kenny
unfortunately, we don’t have point guard on the team
sportsman - January 7, 2012
Id like to see Boynton play PG
And let Wilbikin and Rosario rotate at SG.
Hook85 - January 8, 2012
At least we've got the AA bowl on in a little bit.
Come on Bullard!
Troll2Troll - January 7, 2012
how is UT 7-7?
quicker than us, better shooting and defense than us
sportsman - January 7, 2012
They tested Duke earlier this season
but they’re last in the SEC in scoring defense. Gators are just flat today. Lazy on defense.
whambam - January 7, 2012
The offense is just broken today.
Directionless, pointless crap. They pass it around aimlessly for a bit, and then either try some impossible drive or jack up a contested three from NBA land. Just terrible.
Troll2Troll - January 7, 2012
painful to watch
sportsman - January 7, 2012
Got in the car and turned on the radio.
Heard Mick say, well at least the Gators have recorded at least 7 3’s in each game this season. Today they’re 7-21.

Live by perimeter shooting, die by perimeter shooting.
I don’t trust this team in the tourney. One hiccup and we’re done.
Landlubber - January 7, 2012
in any game
young simply doesn’t have lost post scoring skills
and he’s better than murphy or regrette
sportsman - January 7, 2012
Never thought I’d say this….but…is it football season yet? This team is a joke.
Gators1 - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Track and field starts in like a week!
FlaGators - January 7, 2012
Meh. I can’t get into that, tho. :( Although, watching the relay team with Demps and them is a sight to see.
Gators1 - January 7, 2012
Well, spring ball will be here soon enough.
FlaGators - January 7, 2012
Yes! Atleast we are good in basically everything else.
Gators1 - January 7, 2012
Yup.
FlaGators - January 7, 2012
You guys must not have been watching Gator basketball for very long
Every season there are losses like this, even the 07 team.
Hook85 - January 8, 2012
Our national championship teams sucked in the month of Feb. Both of them.
FlaGators - January 8, 2012
exactly
