Game Two: Miami @ Florida

Miami_logo_medium @ Florida_logo_medium

I'm told Florida fans do not like Miami fans very much. Apparently, Miami fans also cannot stand Florida fans. I'm not at all anticipating this will have a bearing on tonight's game.

Timmy C, Gator Girl, Nat Boyd and Middle Brother will be in Gainesville this evening for the game and possible riots that will follow. I will be cursing at the TV in the beautiful surburbs of Tampa.

We will be back tomorrow morning, unless I break my hands punching walls. After the last regular season UF-UM game, I broke a lamp, so anything is possible.

Go Gators.

Let's hope that the defense can do another Flop...

It would mean that Tebow or another offensive player is trying to break a record. Go Gators!!!

Go Gators!!!

I love the logo/UncleSamigator thingy on here. Whoever did that was genius.

Cover the Over.

I hope the Gators cover the over… alll by them selves! Go Gators!

The USF/UCF game is a good time-filler until 8PM ET
Damn, the camera couldn't stay steady on the nullified pick-6.

Bright House Field (or Stadium, idk) sure can get loud. Must be the metal bleachers. They should move the Orlando bowl games there, if they haven’t already. If that place gets crazy loud filled with UCF fans, just imagine how loud it would be for a coupla upper level teams!

So Mississippi didn't win against Wake Forest?

Damn. Oh well. I was writing an essay about Solzhenitsyn, so I couldn’t watch much of it.
The SEC still is the greatest conference, regardless of how the teams perform, and this is why: I was at the bowl game vs. Michigan last year, and when they were announcing other scores (Outback Bowl, Cotton Bowl, etc.), the cheers for Tennessee leading and the moans for Arkansas trailing were only a few decibels lower than the same reactions for the game the predominantly-Gator crowd was attending. We stick together, and that proves how great a conference we are.

"Where only the Gators get out alive..."

Oh hells yeah, let’s GO!!!!

Miami doesn't have a lot of graceful players do they?

Kick returner tripped over his own feet in the endzone.

The Swamp is screwing with'em...

Keep it loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cooper!!!!

Dammit!!!

Alright, no one is on...
Concerns.

The pass protection was lacking, at best. I’m also worried about our seeming inability to stand behind the running game. That said, the defense is impressive and the special teams stellar. Go Gators!
