In my day, Gator Growl had some well known names as headliners. Well, there was Jay Leno, and an up and coming comedian Jerry Seinfeld opening up for Steven Wright, Jeff Foxworthy, etc. There must be some budget cuts as the featured talent now are Last Comic Standing rejects.
The Gators moved fast and signed a nice top 50 player in Alex Tyus to replace Mack who now is Memphis property.
