BCS Coordinator now from SEC

Slive the SEC commish has taken the reigns as BCS coordinator and from the sounds of it he won't just sit back and be a figure head. He seems to have some thoughts on how the BCS moves forward:

Slive said he believes the BCS of today could look and operate in a vastly different way in the near future.

"I can't think about the future (of the BCS) without thinking about Auburn," he said, a reference to the Tigers' unbeaten season in 2004 in which they did not receive an invitation to play in the national championship game in which Southern Cal whipped Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

On a SEC side note, please welcome fellow SEC blogger at his new home as part of the SBNation stable : Roll Bama Roll

Thanks!
Thanks for the link.

Also, I'm glad to see the SEC having a major hand in the way the BCS works. As much as I loathe Auburn as a Bama fan, they were screwed.

In case there's any confusion, I took delight in their getting shafted, but was concerned as an Alabama fan over similar potential future problems for us.
